Szjerdene | The Songbird

The song came on in my car…and I started humming to it…then I started singing odd sounds and half words…I was enjoying the ideas so much but couldn’t record, so for the next 40 mins I repeated the track and my weird noises until I got home. I ran to my laptop and recorded. a rough version. ‘Think it Through’ wasn’t actually thought through…it was pounded into my head so I couldn’t forget it.

I enjoyed analyzing this songs beauty and done my best to give it justice vocally. The original track (minus my vocals) was created by Savath y Savalas and this is my interpretation vocally.

I flew over to Amsterdam a week later and recorded the final version with Mar. Who co wrote and mixed the entire track. I was so excited when I got the final mix-down that I put it online at 00:01 on Tuesday 22nd February (Release Day)
