BAILE returns this May with his new single ‘Know’, featuring two original compositions from the Brooklyn-based artist and set for release via his Course Records.
‘Know’ is a shining example of BAILE’s craft in the studio, showcasing his love of a crystal clear shimmering production, subtly nuanced throughout. Kackley opts for warm bell chime melodies and off-kilter drum programming at the forefront of the record whilst an amalgamation of sampled vocal lines from Szjerdene and field recordings from the streets of Brooklyn ebb and flow within the groove.
Bonobo, Nick Murphy (formerly Chet Faker) and Szjerdene perform to a sold out crowd at the iconic Red Rocks with special guests Innov Gnawa. Szjerdene wears a jacket by fashion designer Anbasja Blanken.
Guest vocalist Szjerdene took the reins with unparalleled grace and candor, each word escaping her mouth with stoic tragedy. Throughout the performance the beauty of the electronic elements blending with the strings, live band and the sheer beauty of Red Rocks was ethereal…The vibe and the energy radiating from the crowd transcended that of being at a concert in an amphitheater. For a few hours, we were somewhere – lost in the sound.
